horatio todd's first opened in february 2010, and was quickly welcomed by locals and tourists alike for its eclectic menus and tantalising one-of-a-kind beverages.

the popular bar and restaurant gets its namesake from local celebrated pharmacist horatio todd, who was a prominent business man owning a pharmacy at the turn of the 20th century. 

well-known for making his own products and expertise in perfume making, fans of his products included royalty of the time; including the current queen's grandmother!

he lived by his promotional slogan, "5000 prescriptions filled and refilled and not a single mistake", and was well regarded as being a very caring member of society, with a passion for animal welfare - known to create potions and lotions to cure common pet ailments. 

we are proud to serve the residents of northern ireland and hope our namesake horatio todd would be happy knowing the legacy his name has created.
